1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Fridge Rescue (the “Service”), operated by Qu-Ten Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Fridge Rescue is a web application that helps users reduce food waste by generating recipe suggestions based on ingredients they have available. The Service includes both free and premium subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Free and Premium Plans

The Service offers a free tier and a Premium subscription at £7 per month. Free plan users are limited to 10 fridge items and 3 unique recipe views per week. Premium subscribers receive unlimited access to all features including smart expiry alerts, dietary filters, shopping lists, and receipt scanning.

5. Payments and Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. AI-Generated Content

Recipes and suggestions provided by the Service are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that AI-generated recipes are nutritionally complete, allergen-free, or suitable for all dietary requirements. Always use your own judgement when preparing food, particularly regarding allergies and food safety.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit the receipt scanning feature
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and technology comprising the Service are owned by Qu-Ten Ltd. AI-generated recipes provided to you may be used for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell the Service's content without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qu-Ten Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, any adverse reactions from following AI-generated recipes. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
